Alerts the Rega Operations Centre with a swipe of your finger and automatically transmits your position coordinates.

The Rega app is free of charge and comprises the following features:

• Alerts Rega’s Operation Centre from within Switzerland or abroad – your current location is automatically transmitted when you raise the alarm.

• Shares your position coordinates with Rega, even when the app is in the background – so that you can be found more quickly in an emergency.

• Additional features for Rega patrons: shares your position with friends or allows your activities to be monitored – for example, if you are out and about on your own.

• Checks via a test alarm whether the app is configured correctly and an alarm can be initiated if necessary.

• Displays your current position on the map and provides detailed map information from Swisstopo.

• Records useful information that could be of help to the Rega Operations Centre in the event of an emergency.

• Tells you what action you should take if you suffer a medical emergency in Switzerland or abroad.

• Available in four languages (German, English, French, Italian).

Important remarks:

• Place the Rega app icon on the first page of your mobile phone screen for instant access.

• After installing the Rega app for the first time, open the application, accept the Terms of Use, and enter your basic personal data (mobile phone number, first name, family name, etc.). This will save time if you need to raise the alarm.

• Alarm feature: Once the data has been successfully transmitted, the Rega Operations Centre will automatically be contacted. Only after you have spoken to the Operations Centre by phone can a rescue be initiated.

• Enable the Location Services feature in your phone settings.

• The Location Services feature will only work if the appropriate signal can be received (GPS, Wi-Fi, mobile phone network).

• Telephone calls cannot be made without a SIM card.

• If the SIM card is blocked, it is only possible to call the European emergency number 112.

• When raising the alarm, always do so outside in the open air (better signal reception).

• If possible, when raising the alarm, shield the phone microphone from the wind.

O aplicativo Rega é gratuito e inclui os seguintes recursos:

• Alertas do Centro de Operações Rega de dentro ou fora da Suíça - sua localização atual é transmitida automaticamente quando você levanta o alarme.

• Compartilha suas coordenadas de posição com Rega, mesmo quando o aplicativo está em segundo plano - para que você possa ser encontrado mais rapidamente em uma emergência.

• Recursos adicionais para os clientes da Rega: compartilha sua posição com amigos ou permite que suas atividades sejam monitoradas - por exemplo, se você está fora e por conta própria.

• Verifica através de um alarme de teste se o aplicativo está configurado corretamente e um alarme pode ser iniciado, se necessário.

• Exibe sua posição atual no mapa e fornece informações detalhadas do mapa de Swisstopo.

• Registra informações úteis que podem ajudar o Centro de Operações da Rega no caso de uma emergência.

• Diz-lhe que ação você deve tomar se sofrer uma emergência médica na Suíça ou no exterior.

• Disponível em quatro idiomas (alemão, inglês, francês e italiano).

Observações importantes:

• Coloque o ícone do aplicativo Rega na primeira página da tela do seu celular para acesso instantâneo.

• Depois de instalar o aplicativo Rega pela primeira vez, abra o aplicativo, aceite os Termos de Uso e insira seus dados pessoais básicos (número de celular, nome, sobrenome etc.). Isso economizará tempo se você precisar aumentar o alarme.

• Recurso de alarme: Uma vez que os dados tenham sido transmitidos com sucesso, o Rega Operations Center será automaticamente contatado. Somente depois de falar com o Centro de Operações por telefone é possível iniciar um resgate.

• Ative o recurso Serviços de localização nas configurações do seu telefone.

• O recurso de Serviços de Localização só funcionará se o sinal apropriado puder ser recebido (GPS, Wi-Fi, rede de telefonia celular).

• Chamadas telefônicas não podem ser feitas sem um cartão SIM.

• Se o cartão SIM estiver bloqueado, só é possível ligar para o número de emergência europeu 112.

• Ao levantar o alarme, faça-o sempre ao ar livre (melhor recepção do sinal).

• Se possível, ao levantar o alarme, proteja o microfone do telefone do vento.
